  WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins, but it isn’t possible to install additional plugins on WordPress.com. What kind of plugin are you trying to install? I can help you see if there’s a way to get that feature here at WordPress.com.

  WordPress.com has advertising program called WordAds. Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see these links:

  If you require other advertising, such as Infolinks advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.
