no plugin section

Hi there!
I have a little problem. I want to install plugins, but I cannot find the option for it. I watched several YouTube videos with the description, but nothing of them helps. The plugin section simply won’t show up.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Plug-ins are not allowed with WordPress.COM sites, and no upgrade will offer that option. There is some functionality built into WordPress.COM, and that information can be found in the support docs.
The videos you are watching are specific to WORDPRESS.ORG. That is a separate publishing platform and uses completely different software. You can read about the differences here:

You are confusing WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM. For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.
Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality as there is no FTP access provided to us.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
We have built in plugins as you can see by clicking this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

Hi there!
Thanks a lot to both of you!
It does explain a lot. No confusion for me anymore :-)I guess I will stay at .com for now.
But if I grow is it better to change to .org after a certain point? -
I’m not sure if I have a .com or a .org website. But I used to have a dashboard that included plugins, but now I do not. What would the reason for this be?
-
@matrocheck whether you decide to move to a .ORG site depends on what functionality you want from your site. I’ve had a free .COM site for seven years, and the only upgrades I made were to purchase a custom domain (one that removed the .wordpress from the URL) and to buy a couple of Premium themes. Many plug-ins are already built-in as widgets, or there are work arounds available.
If you want complete control of the site, then .ORG is the way to go. But with that, you are also responsible for maintenance, updates, and fixing any problems. All of that is done for you with a .COM site.
