No Plugin tab on dashboard?!!

  Hello,
  I am new to this and for some reason I have NO option to add plugins on my dashboard. What am I missing here? Thanks

  Of course you don’t have plugin tabs. Plugins are only for self hosted WordPress.org installs. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins or third party themes into them. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

  If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins, and to edit themes and templates then your option is to hire a web host and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it.

  What is it that you wanted the plugin for please? We have many widgets that can be used on free hosted WordPress.com blogs and there are also workarounds we can share for some things.
