NO Plugins in my Dashboard.

Is there a widget which will do any form of crossposting? I’m cosidering going from self-hosted to WordPress.com hosted, but right now I use plugins to crosspost to LiveJournal and to throw a slug up to my Facebook account. Are there any widgets that might mirror this functionality?

Hi there,
By cross-posting widget do you mean a widget for creating duplicate content on more than one site that Google’s Panda algorithm can and does detect? http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66359
If so then the answer is “no”.On free hosted WordPress.com blogs we can use Publicize > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

Thanks, Timethief. That answers my question. Publicize would handle the Facebook part of my question, but I like to copy each post fully to my LiveJournal and that won’t work if I go to fully hosted.
Thanks for your time.

Raincoaster- LJ can indeed pull from an RSS feed, but it has to be a separately named LJ name that is not owned by a person. It cannot add that syndicated content to an existing journal with native function.
I’ve been actively using LiveJournal for more than ten years, and my original intent was to include my wordpress content within my existing LJ for those people that still read me there and don’t use rss readers or wordpress for that sort of thing.
I’ve found that the lj-xp plugin does exactly what I need as long as I remain self-hosted, and I’m not so fed up with the constant hack and exploit attempts that I want to abandon that functionality for wordpress.com hosting.
*Not yet, anyway.*
