No poster when blogs are posted?

on my blog pickyassgamer.wordpress.com when me or my friends post we never see a user name of who posted it? is there a way to change it or do we have to pay for something ? it would be great if someone could help me i’m really new to WordPress

some themes show the post author and some don’t. in order to show the post author, you have to switch to a theme that does.
otherwise, you can just leave a signature at the end of each post.

Just thinking out loud here…the only thing is that I’m wondering if in a multiuser blog, if the author name appears you can click on it to get more by that author. Otherwise you could try making your author names into separate categories and then use one of the category widgets in your sidebar…

I'm wondering if in a multiuser blog, if the author name appears you can click on it to get more by that author.(as you pointed out) you could create categories with the names of usernames, then use the link of those categories to link with the author’s username in the post (as a signature?).
also, the author could edit his/her profile and put the category link instead, but that would only be clickable if they left comments on the blog.
