No Posts? 157 clicks one month old.

My blog is one month old and has around 157 clicks, but cannot see that there have been any posts. Can this be or am I not setting something up correctly?

No posts? You have several posts. Do you mean comments? I’m averaging one comment per 900 reads in each of my blogs.
How many comments have YOU made on other peoples’ blogs lately? The internet is like high school; you have to put out to be popular.
-
Oh yes, I did mean comments, thank you!
Grazie, for bring the other peoples blog to light. No, I have not commented very much on other peoples blogs. I did not realize that it was a major aspect of blogging. I have been so busy creating content that I neglected to take into consideration this all important aspect.
Thank you very much for your helpful comment.
Just one more question pertaining to this area. How to you track other blogs? Do you use freshly pressed? -
I don’t bother tracking other peoples’ blogs, and I never read Freshly Pressed: it’s too smarmy and mainstream for my taste.
-
I subscribe to blogs using the Reader here (the RSS feed from a blog) – follow a few blogs and see who they link to and who comments on them and look at the blogs –

Thank you Raincoaster, I am trying to be popular, and it worked. Jan 1st I left comments on at least 20 blogs that day- great results! I am trying to do this each day.I did use freshly pressed, what else do you suggest besides that? I am a Bohemian you know, and don’t relish smarmy or mainstream.
Thank you Auxclass! I will look into using RSS feed. I think I checked it out and was turned off by the manual input of the URLs..lazylol.
By the way judging from your gravatar, is your blog about sailing? I am an avid sailor ? -
Yes commenting meaningfully on blog with similar content can lead to reciprocity. Note that this is the slowest traffic period of the year and my most recent post is on topic: Blogs are About Comments and Commenting

Increasing traffic to a blog is hard work. If you want your blog to rank well in search engine results then that begins with creating and publishing original content ie. unique content that cannot be found anywhere else on the internet.

Copy & paste the URL into the reader – quite easy – there are also other readers that can have the subscription done with your browser so it’s just a click – I use the reader here since I have my site open & I help in the forum a bit, so sort of a one stop thing
