  I can’t post to my site. I write a post, and on my dashboard I can find all my test posts under the ‘post’ icon. But when I go to my actual website there nothing is visible to a reader. Where do they go? I have my page set up to be just a home page, nothing I write ends up there though.

  Hi there,

  It looks like you’ve removed the block from your site’s Home template that’s responsible for displaying the page’s content.

  Go to the site editor at Appearance ->Editor.

  Once the editor loads, click on Home at the top, and click on Clear Customizations. You should see some placeholder text appear above the image you’ve added to the footer (I’m guessing you don’t actually want that in the footer, but let’s do this one step at a time :) )

  Click Save, and now check on your front page if you see your post.

  Let us know once you reach that point, and we can walk you through the steps to add a Header section to the page for your cover image instead.

  Hey there, I’m hiking the Appalachian Trail so I am without internet for long stretches. Thank you for getting back to me! Yes, that worked, you’re wonderful. It does seem like the footer thing is now interrupting the post order, I will try to figure out how to edit that.

  Is there a way to have all my full blog posts on the home page? The blog feature only offers excerpts. I was hoping to just have all the writing and pictures and such on the front page.

  With your theme, to achieve that, you’d need to create a dedicated homepage displaying blog posts. On it, you’d use a block like Blog Posts block, which will allow you to specify how the posts will be displayed.
