No Posts possible & Confirmation email requested but not arriving?

  Got this message out of the blue:

  Please confirm your email address.
  A confirmation email was sent to [may mail address]. Confirmation will enable publishing of posts on your blog.

  Checked my mail, spam box, checked email on wordpress, clicked resend confirmation…nothing working and I cannot post anything now?

  WordPress Support site has a message they are closed till 2 January?

  What is happening???

  I have the same experience, tried the same stuff. Maybe I’m a conspiracy theorist but has WP been hacked? What are we actually doing when we click the “resend email” link?

  Me too.

  Clicked the re-send button more than a dozen times. No email arrives.

  Tested my own email by mailing it from another account and it works fine. So the problem isnt you or your email. It’s WordPress.

  And all the ‘Happiness Engineers’ are on break, so I guess we’re stuck with it.

  I was seeing this also; just started this morning. I did all the same things – checked mail, checked spam box, reverified email address, tried resending the email a couple of times, checked for most recent browser, and disabled all browser add-ons. Suddenly, a couple of minutes ago, it corrected itself without any emails sent or received, and no action on my part. Now I can update again. So give it another try?
