No reading setting

Hi, i am trying to create a portfolio page with the grid themes. I’ve tried themes such as snaps, cubic, pictorico, espied. However I can’t get grid images on the home page because my wordpress doesn’t have the ‘reading’ option in settings. I have General, writing, discussion and traffic but no reading setting which I believe is important to setup the portfolio home page. Any suggestions please? Thank you

I believe, you’re looking for the option to set your homepage, in order to show the grid images. Aside from the setting it up in the “Reading” section, you can also set it up in the “Customize” section.
1. Click “Customize” from the WordPress site you are working on.
2. Then select “Static Front Page” from the left menu.You can also find more information from this link.
In addition to that, you can check the support pages for the theme you wanted to use.
In regard with the Reading option in the Settings – you can find it in the WP Admin Dashboard. Please try clicking this – https://livelearnseek.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
1. You can get to this dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: livelearnseek.wordpress.com/wp-admin)
2. Then from the left side menu, hover “Settings.”
3. Then you will find “Reading.”Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your guidance Rose. I’m new to wordpress and very excited to see its potential.
I’ve found the reading setting and set it accordindly. My front page displays portfolio images successfully.
However, the interface I wanted for my site is navigation via portfolio images. I’ve asked the question here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/multiple-portfolio-pages-1?replies=1
