  im trying to download the redirection plugin but its not there
  can somebody help

  Hi there! Plugins aren’t possible to upload into your WordPress.com site. (They’re used on self-hosted WordPress.org sites.)

  For Site Redirect, there is this option: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/

  Or if that’s not what you need, if you’d like to describe what exactly you’re looking to do, I can suggest a solution. :)

  I created a free word press , so I can’t download plugins ?
  So would I need to go through godaddy route and purchase WordPress like that?

  Right. If there are plugins you must have on your site, you should set up a hosting plan elsewhere (like Pressable, Bluehost, etc), install your own copy of WordPress there, and then you can add the plugins.

  Here at WordPress.com we work to build in lots of features that people use plugins for elsewhere, so depending on what you’re looking for we may have it (and we’re always happy to answer yes/no either way to help you figure out what’s best for you). :)
