No reply emails for comments

Jenia I didn’t get the email that you commented here. I was about to send you a message that I got your comment on my blog to my mail registered here vs the lady or not email I usually get them.
May I reconnect my other plug ins?
Also I received a comment about someone not getting their subscription emails though some did. I will show you what this woman said. It may be able to help you figure out what is going on.

Hey Rebecca- There’s a “Pending” comments folder, which I check daily because new commenters get tossed in there so I can make sure the comment is legit and acceptable for my blog. If a blog owner doesn’t go to their dashboard and check pending comments (or even spam – some regular commenters end up in spam once in a while) comments can be missed. The subscription was weird. I don’t know how familiar you are with WordPress, but when I’m logged in, I can click a link “Blogs I follow” to see a list of all the blogs I follow. I didn’t see yours in the list, so I subscribed again. When I went back to my followed blogs list, I noticed a link above the list which read “Pending (2)” (since I subscribed to you twice). When I clicked on the pending folder, I saw your site and I clicked on it to confirm the subscription. Normally, site subscription confirmations come through email, but now that I know it can be done this way, I’ll be sure to check it as well. If a user has subscribed to comments on your post, they should check their email’s spam or junk folder….I found your email in my junk folder (not sure what caused the system to send it there, but hey, it keeps me on my toes.) Hope this makes a little sense. -JannaT > Date: Sun, 19 Aug 2012 23:02:54 -0700″ -
Hi Rebecca, yes please go ahead and reconnect your plugins, the issue does not seem to be plugin incompatibility.
Just to be clear, I commented on your ladyornot.com blog (link). Did I understand correctly that you did not receive the comment notification?
The email that you quoted seems to be from a person who is using WordPress.com Reader, available here. It is possible to “follow” blogs via the reader (and when you subscribe, your subscription is listed as “pending” until you confirm it). Under the Reader settings, it is possible to choose email delivery (e.g. “immediate”, “weekly”, etc.)
It happens sometimes that emails from WordPress.com go to the Spam folder. This is something that depends on the email provider/client and not something we can influence, unfortunately. It helps to whitelist (modify the email client setting to never send to spam) @wordpress.com addresses to make sure you get all emails from us.
Back to your original issue, at the moment it appears that Jetpack comment subscriptions are not working. We are waiting on a fix and will update you once there is one. Thanks for your patience!

I did get comment notification. I didn’t get it the email I usually do, I got it to my personal email
-
Did you receive it at the email address set in Settings -> General in your Dashboard or Users -> Personal Settings?

No. That is what is strange. I have 3 emails. I have yahoo. I have gmail and I have my website email. My website email is registered on wordpress. My yahoo is wordpress because it asked me to use a different one. Once though, I received a reply to google. I don’t know how that happened.
Last month when I first set up wordpress, I didn’t get emails at all for this stuff. It is a fairly new thing that I get them at all.

Should be fixed now! Rebecca, I left a comment and was able to subscribe via comments, and received a follow-up comment, too. You should be all set, and please delete my test comments.
