No response at all from WordPress // disappointing
-
I’ve been trying to contact support via message for days now. First had questions which went unanswered, and now, I want to cancel my account–and I am not seemingly able to do so, or to get a return email or any confirmation.
Can someone from wordpress please contact me and confirm the cancellation of my account? (email visible only to moderators and staff) or (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which upgrade are you trying to cancel and get a refund for please?
Do you want to use your domain URL on another site located elsewhere?
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
What do you see in these two locations please?

Thanks for your response. Know that Staff will respond as soon as they answer the threads tagged for their attention prior to this one being tagged. There is a backlog so you will have to be patient.

HI, I really need a manager to contact me. I just received two email messages asking me to rate to rate support experience from Steve and from Irwin, respectively. Only problem is that I have not gotten ANY support experience other than from this thread in the forums. I wanted to join WordPress because I heard the service was great. So far, my experience has been awful.
I really want my money back – I’ve been trying to set that in motion and I have gotten zero confirmation. It’s been a week and this is just ridiculous and is not acceptable. Can a manager please contact me? (email visible only to moderators and staff)

I got another message….this time asking me to rate Sarah. But neither Sarah, Steve nor Irwin has actually contacted me.
You leave me with no choice. I am going to have to call my credit card company and have them intervene. I am also going to have to resort to social media. Very disappointing.

Just in case you missed the message on the Contact Support page:
Support is closed at the moment while we work on a few projects internally as a team. We will reopen on Wednesday, October 21st.
The forums are open over the break and you can post a support request using the form below.
If you require a refund, you can still request one directly from your My Upgrades screen.
Regardless, this thread has been tagged for Staff attention and they will reply to it when they return, if not beforehand.

As this is the first and only question you have asked in this forum I’m wondering if your blog is actually a WordPress.org blog.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely different things http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/, and the WordPress.org forum is here- http://wordpress.org/support/
Good luck. :)

Hi metan1, nice to see you.
Maybe, but gazelleddotcom.wordpress.com currently redirects to gazelled.com
If the OP has the Business bundle (so they said above), then support would most likely have taken place outside the forums.
Regardless, the home lights are burning waiting for Staff to reply to this thread. :)

Hi metan1. I do realize they are different and I am on the correct support forum–but thank you :)
Hi JustJennifer: Thanks….I will hold off contacting social media and my credit card company 2 more days.

I hear you, JustJennifer, and really, thanks for reaching out.
But I have been more than patient, and we are not talking charity. I have a lot of money on the line and need assurance I will get it back.
If they have a back log, it is a business problem that they clearly need to address with additional staff or some other solution. People who pay for services like this should not have to be patient–especially after this long and so many glitches and unanswered or weirdly automated messages. It’s a customer service problem. They really need to fix it. Thanks

Thanks, BruceAllen. There’s nothing in my inbox. Wondering if you sent it to the correct address at gmail?

If you don’t see it in your inbox could you do a global search inside gmail for wordpress.com?
Here is some more on that:
Hopefully you’re able to find it. If you can’t, write back here, and we’ll go from there.
