No result on Google Search

    Hello…
    Greetings.

    I am a newbie to wordpress. I started using wp before 1 week. But on the very beginning I have faced the biggest problem. Before this I was using Joomla and my site was problem-free and some of my posts were placed on the top of the Google search result.

    But I have deleted the whole Joomla site and installed wp and started developing my site because I heard that wp is more simpler and user friendly. I have copied some useful posts from my Joomla site and posted them to wordpress, I maintained the same URL indexed by Google, (eg. http://www.mysite.com/my-post-url), but if I now search using my site name or post keyword, I see nothing on search result, I think something is blocking Google to index my site.

    I was searching on Google to solve it, I fund some posts but that didnt help me. From Setting>General “discourage search engine to index my site” is unchecked.

    Now what can I do? Need urgent help. Any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated.

    Hi there.

    First, when I try to open http://sitestalk.com/ I get a warning that the site has been reported for malware. Google does not index sites that have been reported for hosting malware.

    Second, that site is hosted by CloudFlare.net, not WordPress.com, so you are posting in the wrong forum. If you have a self-hosted site you need to post in the WordPress.org forum: http://wordpress.org/support/

    Third, no matter where your site is hosted, any new site can take up to two months before it starts appearing in search results. It doesn’t matter what your search ranking was before. If it’s a new site with a new link structure you have to build up the search ranking again from scratch, and that takes time.

    If you please tell me, how can I resolve the malware issue, then it will be very helpful for me.

    The malware warnings could be caused by a plugin or advertising displayed on your site, or even if you display images by hotlinking to them. I’m afraid I can’t help much more that that.

    You can use the link I gave above to post in the WordPress.org forum. They have more experience with this kind of thing and will be better able to help you. You could also try contacting your web host directly for help.
