no spaces or returns in searched page

Why when I search, the correct page appears, but all formatting is gone (like no returns, no spaces between all characters. Like this:

The search results page on your blog won’t show any formatting for the pages in the results. However, if you click on the page title on the search results page, you’ll be taken to the actual page with the usual formatting.
