no spam is blocked…no hyper links in messages being sent

  I’m getting a lot of spam from “people” suddenly and it all says it’s coming from Facebook………They are not using hyper-link symbols so they’re not being blocked….also it appears that NOTHING has been placed in spam…what can I do??

  Hi there,

  Did you already manually mark these as spam? If so, you did exactly what you should – every time you mark items as spam, Akismet adjusts its algorithm to include things like that, so it should start automatically blocking those comments.

  If you are still having this issue, can you link me directly to one of the comments?

  I did mark them as spam…..another one got in today….If one pops up again, I will link you to it..Thank you!
