No stats on WordPress app

For about the past week, no stats have been populating using my wordpress app for iPhone. Every time, I try to access, it reads 0 visitors and 0 views, whereas my laptop says differently. Is anybody else having this problem?

Hi there,
I just checked my iOS app and could not reproduce this error. Can you make sure the app is updated? If it is and it’s still not working try deleting and re-installing the app.

Thank you for following up. You’re fantastic (although you already knew that). Shortly after I first noticed this problem I did exactly that, I updated it and it worked for about 15 minutes and then it stopped working again. Just now I tried it. I deleted and re-installed the app and the same thing happened; it worked once (views and visitors populated whereas blogs read or from what country the visitors came from did not populate) and now it won’t work again. Very frustrating. Incidentally, a friend of mine (a fellow blogger on wordpress) is having the same problem. Any ideas would be appreciated!

This is very strange! I’m sorry, but I still can’t seem to reproduce this. It may help to speak directly with our mobile support team/developers. Can you please repost this here:

Yes, please create a WordPress.org account. The mobile team works on WordPress.org and WordPress.com.

I’m afraid I’m confused. Why would you like me to join another website to report a problem to a team that works on both websites? Why not simply direct their attention to the problem I’m having on this website. Honestly, I’m not interested in joining another website. I’m simply interested in resolving the issue I’m have on this one. If I may, if you’d like to forward my concern on to another team, I would certainly allow you to do that. Please note that the mobile app is WordPress.org and WordPress.com. If you don’t want to post to the mobile support forum, then I’ll see what I can do.

Just to make sure – have you updated your iOS to the most recent version? I’m not able to reproduce your error. I’m taking a look at the mobile support forum and I’m not seeing any reports of the bug you are talking about as well. I believe it may be independent to your device.

Grace, I think the issue may have resolved. After our exchange the other day, when it worked once, I tried it again and it would work intermittently each day seeing an improvement with the times that it would work versus the times that it wouldn’t. Considering I have not updated my IOS, nor am I able to because of limited space on my iPhone, I’ll go with the luck I am having and hope it lasts. I appreciate your attention to the issue and if it repeats, I’ll be back in touch. Thanks again.
