no store button to access domain redirect
-
I need someone to help me sort out my TWO accounts. I tried to import one into the other following your guidelines but I am now unable to locate the “store” button to access my upgrades. I can’t redirect my domain unless I can access the store.

I started tarawho.wordpress.com to see if I could easily work in it. When I felt this could be useful I wanted to redirect this to danadistributors.com.
My web host has me set up with a different wordpress account. When I redirected my site to my hosts address I lost the ability to use the upgrades. I imported my site to the web address I want but now I can’t make the changes. It seems like his wordpress account is the one that is still active instead of mine.

Right, WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress.org are two entirely different entities. WordPress.com upgrades only function on WordPress.com blogs.
Are you saying that you want everything to be at the self-hosted http://danadistributors.com/ blog now, or do you want http://danadistributors.com/ to be at WordPress.com instead?

I wanted to redirect the blog to danadistributors.com. We only had an address page there before. I thought I could redirect my blog so when you went to the site you saw that instead of my hosts blog. I can alter some of the things in his blog but I ultimately wanted to redirect because his blog has no upgrades. Thank you!

Sorry, I still don’t understand.
Do you want to:
1. Send visitors from the site at http://tarawho.wordpress.com/ to the site at http://danadistributors.com/ ?
2. Have the site at http://tarawho.wordpress.com/ appear as danadistributors.com instead?

2. exactly! I thought I redirected correctly. When I brought the site up I saw my hosts blog. Almost like I could not overwrite his blog if that makes sense.

Perfect, you actually almost have it set as desired since you mapped the domain back in March.
When you need to do now if access your domain’s controls through your registrar (not us) and change your domain’s name servers to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
