No summary text displayed in front page

  By default my front page (“Home”) display my latest posts full text but I need to display summary: title+1 photo+start summary text.

  I don’t think I need to change this so readers see a static page instead, I’m sure from somewhere I can fix this problem but from where, please?

  I found this: dashboard > settings > reading > For each article in a feed, show > summary …. but nothing changed into the front page image.

  Yes. You have set your feeds to show a summary. That has NOTHING to do with what the BLOG, as opposed to the FEED, shows.

  To show a truncated version of the post on teh front page, either use a theme that does this automatically or use the More tag, the one that looks like a dotted line across the page.
