Hi, is there no support with wordpress.com now i have moved my site to wordpress.org? I really would like to speak to someone about my site that i am building and having a few issues with, and i always was able to live chat and now i don’t see that option on here or on wordpress.org

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s correct: if your site runs on WordPress but is no longer hosted at WordPress.com, it means that WordPress.com staff do not have access to your site.

This does NOT mean that you are on your own or that you have no support at all. You can go to https://wordpress.org/support/ , where you will find a large community of volunteer helpers to assist you with specific questions.

P.S. To post on the WordPress.org, you need a WordPress.org account. Click on the link below to create one.

Hi airodyssey, thanks for replying. That explains a lot. No one at wordpress mentioned this to me when i migrated from wordpress.com to .org (self hosted) they said there would still be available people to help.
The main thing i have a problem with is that i have double if not triple of all my pages and when i trying to edit the pages its not saving anything i am doing which is quite annoying!

Precisely: there are still available people to help, but on the WordPress.org.
This document further explains the differences between WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress sites:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Regarding your double/triple page problem: if the transfer from WordPress.com to your self-hosted site was done by WordPress.com via their Guided Transfer upgrade, type “modlook” on the Tags section (to the right) and a staff member will take a closer look.

If you migrated the data from WordPress.com to your self, please go to https://wordpress.org/support/ for assistance (and from any questions you may have going forward).

Sorry, the last paragraph should read:

If you migrated the data from WordPress.com to your self-hosted site yourself, please go to https://wordpress.org/support/ for assistance (and from any questions you may have going forward).

Hi, I am still struggling with my site, and really feel like i should have stayed with wordpress.com as the livechat is much easier to work with and resolves a situation immediately instead of waiting a few days for people to respond!
Basically these are the issues i have and cannot find any support information to clarify it. Firstly, how do i connect my blog so all my blog posts are automatically connected to my facebook page, there does not seem to be an option on my dashboard like on wordpress.com.
Secondly I have call to action buttons (wigets) on my home page that i want people to click on and be able to access other information. What do i need to do to have these buttons linked to documents i have finished.
Finally, i am looking to set up my contact page but the plugin in for this, doesn’t appear to be working when i click on it.
What should have taken only a couple of days to complete. This whole website has taken 2 weeks and im still no closer to going live. I would appreciate someone seeing this message and helping me with the above so i can actually have a website that can be put live.
    Thanks Caroline
