No text field for pages
-
Hi, I needed to edit a page originally added a good few years ago. But when I select the ‘edit’ option, all I get is the title (which can be edited), and below that what looks like the link to the page. There is no field beneath — I can’t even see the original text. I thought I’d delete the page entirely and just make a new one, but when I go to draft a new page I have the exact same problem. There is no option to add or edit text — it just isn’t there. Nothing, no text, no image, no edit bar. Zip. Anyone know what on earth is going on??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, have you tried another browser, or updating your current browser, the WordPress.com desktop app is pretty easy to changes and posts.

Hey there! Thanks for the response. I work off my MacBook and use Safari. As far as I know it’s updated…? Sorry, I don’t know much at all about this stuff so don’t know how to check if it needs updates, or when it was last updated??
Would that make a difference?

In some cases, Flash updates caused some issues, but help me out if you don’t mind. Have you gone through the “WP-Admin” and then to “posts “
and editing them from there, cause that might be easier as well.
To get to”WP-Admin” go to “My Sites” and scroll down to “WP-Admin”, after you entered go to “Posts” you will find your posts there. After editing, you can save and publish.Hope this works for you.

You are a GENIUS!! Thank you so so much!!
I had no idea about the WP Admin section — I thought WordPress maybe did an overhaul or something. And there I was, battling with the ‘new’ interface, completely clueless on how to navigate it or get anything done anymore!
Fantastic, I am forever grateful!!! Thank you so, so much for taking the time to help me out!!
