No text on new pages

I’m trying to create new pages on my site. I am using the Pretty Darn Cute genesis child theme called Pretty Happy and the genesis framework. I got rid of any pages that came as sample with the child theme. I am trying to create new pages from scratch such as about and contact, to start. I made the pages. I made the menu. I told the menu to show up in the primary navigation bar per the theme. The menu shows up and so do the titles to the pages I made in the menu (namely ‘about’ and ‘contact’). On the about page that I created under the pages> add new page, I wrote some random asdkga kind of text to see if it would work. Nothing. Blank in live view on that page. On the contact page I created under the pages > add new page, I wrote some text about please contact me then created a form for contact per instructions I had. Nothing. No text or contact form are showing in the live preview. What am I doing wrong?

Ok thank you for getting back to me so quickly. You are correct. I checked on everything and I am self hosting through wordpress.org. I’ll try to troubleshoot from there. Really appreciate you pointing that out.
