No Toolbar Option in my Personal Settings

I am trying to turn on my admin toolbar, but there is no toolbar option listed in my personal settings. I would like to select it to have my toolbar available. I have accessed the admin dashboard by using the wp-admin extension and have spent a couple of hours looking through all menus & watching video instructions, but no luck. I’ve tried to include a screenshot with this post, but no luck there either – My settings screen lists Admin Color Scheme / Keyboard Shortcuts / Interface Language… but does not have the Toolbar option after Keyboard Shortcuts as shown in videos.

For clarification, when you refer to “toolbar”, do you mean the customize area located in the Appearance menu?

Thank you for your response. I am referring to the option to open my dashboard using the small speedometer icon on my screen without having to open a page with the wp-admin extension. The instructions and videos that I have found show that there should be a ‘Toolbar’ option to select or unselect in my personal settings to activate or remove this icon from my pages.

…the most helpful video I found showed a screencast with the ‘Toolbar’ option with a checkbox directly under the Keyboard Shortcuts with ‘Toolbar’ in bold print on the left-hand side under the ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’ listing that was in bold print on the left-hand side. My screen has ‘Keyboad Schortcuts’, but ‘Interface Language’ is listed next and I can not find the ‘Toolbar’ option to select anywhere.
