No traffic all of a sudden

    I’ve been receiving pretty regular traffic, views, likes, even some comments; but the last few days I haven’t gotten any traffic at all. Is this common? I do engage with other bloggers and have followers, but I have noticed a very random decline.

    Any advice or insights?

    Hi there,

    I see that you have been posting regularly and have been using limited number of relevant tags so that shouldn’t be the issue.

    If large number of your blog’s visitors were coming to your blog from Google, then It’s possible that changes in how Google ranks your blog have impacted your traffic. You can read about how WordPress.com works with search engines here: Search Engines

    If that is the case you might want to consider setting up Google Webmaster Tools to get more help with your blog in Google search results. You can find out more about that here: Webmaster Tools

    I have also tagged modlook in the sidebar for staff advice on the same.

    Hi theageoftheawakening,

    I’ve checked your stats and theageoftheawakening.wordpress.com has received a number of visits during the last few days. Your traffic numbers have dropped slightly but this looks like a natural fluctuation in traffic — visitors are being recorded so I can’t see an issue with the site itself.

    I’d be happy cross check what you are seeing, with what I can see. If you would like me to, please make a screenshot of your stats page:
