no update services available

  Hi,

  with my blog schlauerhans.wordpress.com i have no aqucess to the update services in options -> writing … i dont see the menu, i only see a description in the hep menu. can you help me?
  a hint from me: i had 2 blogs, but deleted one.

  Ha okay, first of all thanks for your quik support.

  I used wordpress a couple years ago. And at this time it was possible to ping websites when i update my blog with a new post. So i searched for this option with my recent blog but i did not find it. After a google search i read, that this option is disabled if you use “blog networks”. Does this mean the update services option is not possible to use if i have a couple of blogs? Recently i have only one blog, i have deleted the other one to test, but the Option does not apear yet. If I go to Options -> Writing -> Help I am able to see the description of this function but in the managing frame i do not see it and cannot configurate it.

  And just to get sure: My aim is to get the Update Servies function and ping other website about my updates ;)

  It is not possible to add additional update services to a WordPress.com blog, but we already take care of pinging http://pingomatic.com/ for you.
