No Upgrade Renewal Notices Recieved

Domain Mapping
This upgrade will expire in 28 days on September 27, 2014
So the staff have assured me that I was sent notices at something like 90, 60, and 30 days – so sorry that you are not accurate –
I have not received ANY notice for my domain mapping – and yes the email for the account works and is used on a regular basis and no the notice did not go to spam
So what the deal? This seems to be an annual thing – still not fixed
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey Mike,
I’m sorry you haven’t received any notification. We’re looking into this now. I’ll let you know what I find out!

Hey Mike,
It looks like the renewal notices for Domain Mapping upgrades doesn’t function like the “90, 60, and 30 days.” I’m still trying to track down the definitive answer though. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

Thanks for checking
I am sort of a simple 90, 60, 30….. day kind of person – I think you should have “one size fits all” type of notice – I think many people would go ahead and renew at the 90 day – but there are some people and times when the notice comes in and they are distracted, busy or what ever and the notice gets forgotten.
Of all the upgrades to have a problem with, the domain mapping is the most critical as access to a site goes away and incoming links are broken.
I have friends that have retired, moved onto a sailboat and are out sailing around the world, we talked about domain mapping and using their boat name, because of the being out of internet range for long periods the decision was made to not go with domain mapping
I finally did get a 14 day notice on this domain mapping.

PS – yes I know the CSS folks will disagree with me since their sites would go back to standard no CSS code –

Hey Mike,
I totally understand. I’ll keep you posted with what we decide, and I’ll be sure we update the docs to reflect the notices for domain mapping renewals!
