No upload picture / icon box on General Settings blog

  Hi all,

  I’m trying to upload a Blavatar to my blog but when I go to the Settings – General page there is no sign of the ‘Upload Picture / Icon’ box. I’ve seen screen shots of how the page should look and where the box should be but it’s not there.

  I’ve already used a plugin to upload a Favicon which is working fine. What I want the Blavatar to do is appear alongside any links to my blog (if I share it on Facebook and so on).

  I’ve searched the forums and everywhere else to no avail. Hope someone knows the answer!
