  I am having the hardest time posting my post. I can’t tell if it is posted, and when I try and the link for others to view it, they can’t see anything.
  I am seriously frustrated

  What’s your site going to be about? Is it going to consist of mostly static content or will you be publishing lost of article/posts?

  If it’s the latter, then you could consider experimenting with different themes that will really showcase your blog posts. Canard, Dyad, and Baskerville are some nice examples of themes that are designed to showcase posts.
