No views on blog posts

Hi Everyone,
So i’m still pretty new to wordpress, so I wouldn’t expect my posts to garner a lot of views. However, my previous posts including my first ones had approximately 5-10 views / likes. However, with my new post, I have recieved zero views. I have followed the genereal principles and used less than 15 categories and tags. Initially, I didn’t so I deleted it and re-posted it.If anyone has any suggestion on why this is occuring that would be great. As i have spent a lot of time writing this post and I feel it will go in vein if no one reads (ironically this is what my post is about).

Only use the tags and categories that match best. Good luck!

Hey thanks for the reply. Just two questions:
1) Should I delete my post again and repost with less categories and tags, in order to get more traffic? Or can merely editing it still attract traffic.
2) Are categories and tags usually the same words? i’m struggling to see the difference. Whenever i see another persons posts i can only see there tags but not their categories.
