No Vine icon in social links menu

  God knows there are bigger problems in the world, but I’m wondering why the Vine link in my social links menu has a generic link icon rather than a Vine icon. I’m using the Twenty-Sixteen theme, which lists Vine among the social networks for which “Linking to any of the following sites will automatically display its icon in your menu” (Twenty Sixteen Theme).

  That looks like a bug to me.

  I can’t find a genericon for Vine. This is why a generic sharing link icon is shown.

  The only V on http://genericons.com/ is for Vimeo, not Vine.

  I tagged this thread for staff’s attention to confirm this. Please hold on while a friendly Happiness Engineer gets a chance to confirm this.

  I’m double-checking with our developers but it looks like you’re correct, chaitanyamsv – I don’t see a Genericon for Vine. I’ll let you know soon for sure.

  I confirmed that Vine was accidentally included in that list – we’ve removed it. Thanks for the heads-up!
