No visitors to my site
-
I am absolutely new to the blogging world, so I’m a bit lost, I think. Anyway I now have my blog up called “intheshadowedgloom”, and I have had no visitors what-so-ever, well I don’t think. I know my site/theme is not for everyone, and might not be of any interest, but I just wanted to know if is this normal. I’ve only been up for a few days. I keep seeing stuff about tags, I put some in, I think they’re right but maybe not. Please help there too!! Anyway if it normal not to have any visitors, please let me know, if it’s because people have no interest in my subject/blog then I will accept it, but won’t change it….sorry, an indulgence
thanks.

Please read the sticky thread at the top of the forum called 8 Things and link your name to your blog. That will help.
Posting here asking why nobody has visited your blog without providing a link to your blog is not going to help much. Also: have you visited other people’s blogs and left comments? The internet is very “give to get”.

It must be frustrating for a new blogger, but it takes time for a new blog to get an audience. According to Technorati, 1.5 million blogs had a post in the last 7 days, and 900,000 in the last 24 hours. I think those figures are low.

Your welcome for the advice intheshadowedgloom,
I noticed that you have one post the way the blog sphere
works is when your new you build creditability & your brand
writing style etc, It takes time for the readers to start noticing
your blog. it took me 2 weeks to lock in a foundation for my readers.Keep in mind that site navigation is a important factor because
if they can’t find there way around your site they will leave & not
look back.I have been almost blogging for a 1yr now & I’m just bricking the
top of the ice burg. with faithful readership. My point to all this is it’s a slow process & it will take time for
you to achieve the level of creditability that bloggers that have been
doing this for 6months or more have to draw in a faithful readership. -
