No way to edit sticky status of post?
-
I’ve been trying to change the sticky status of a blog post for a half hour. Nothing relevant in Google. No advice looks anything like the blog editor I’m using.
I’m logged into the WordPress editor. I posted an entry. I would now like to make it ‘stick’ to the top. There are no such settings under Visibility. I already have a post marked with a yellow sticky. I want to remove its sticky status and have a new post stick to the top. I want to do this with a simple button click. It is not possible. Ugh.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

(I just tried making a new test post and seeing if I could apply a sticky somehow then. Nope! I don’t know how I did it before with my old post. It is our intro-post to our blog and it has had sticky-status for months and I forget how I did it. …Thru floundering and suffering, I assume.)

I believe this is a known issue in the new editor https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/editor-feedback?replies=749 but that it does not exist in the classic editor.
You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. For locating the ways and means of accessing the legacy or classic pages for creating posts, editing posts, and for viewing stats see here > Navigating the Classic WordPress.COM interface http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/navigating-the-classic-wordpress-com-interface/
