Hi there!
When you mention that it seems to have disappeared, could you share more about what you’re referring? From what I see the lost password section https://corrinvets.ie/my-account/lost-password/ seems to redirect to your site, so there might be a plugin interfering. If you’re able to access your dashboard you can follow these steps to see what’s causing your password reset redirection, if not you will need to follow these steps:
Access Your Site via FTP or File Manager:
- Use an FTP client (like FileZilla) or your hosting provider’s file manager.
- Navigate to
wp-content/plugins. - Rename the plugins folder to
plugins_old. This will deactivate all plugins. - Try accessing your site. If it loads, a plugin is causing the issue. Rename the folder back to
pluginsand reactivate each plugin one by one from the WordPress dashboard to identify the problematic one.
Check Theme:
- Navigate to
wp-content/themes. - Rename the active theme’s folder (e.g.,
yourthemetoyourtheme_old). WordPress will default to a basic theme like Twenty Twenty-One. - Check if your site loads. If it does, the issue is with your theme.
These steps should deactivate most of the plugins and customizations and allow you to run the default WordPress installation, so you should be able to reset your password.
That being said, I see your site is hosted with Hosting Ireland rather than WordPress.com so I can only share some general guidelines and recommendations since we’re not able to access the site. Take into account that by migrating your site with us you can enjoy our hands-on specialized WordPress support which could further help you with situations like this one and way more.
If this might be something you would be interested in, don’t hesitate to answer the thread :)
