node.js and npm

    Hello,

I am struggling to get PayPal Standard Integration working. Standard Integration is a new system of accepting online payments via Paypal and Venmo. PayPal is urging its business users to switch to standard integration, and there are rumors that it may discontinue its legacy buttons.

I have developed a Standard Integration test page, and have verified that it works when run via npm on my laptop.

I have asked PayPal Technical Support to assist me with this, but they continue to advise me to work with a ‘PayPal Partner,’ a group of third-party software developers.

Standard Integration is based on Javascript, and requires node.js and npm.

Does WordPress support node.js? If so, what is required to get it installed on my website?

Any information that you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Hello there,

    Many thanks for reaching out.

Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?

The reason why I ask is because, I can’t see activity on the site: calligraphybyraoul.com for quite some time, so I’m wondering which site you could be working on.

    Many thanks in advance.
