non-appearance of sidebar when page is published

    I run two sites – 1. allsaintschalloch.wordpress.com and 2. stranraercameraclub.wordpress.com. In 2, I have had no problem in showing a sidebar with widgets in it on the front page when it’s published but in 1, although the sidebar and widgets show in edit, it doesn’t show when I view the site online. I’ve checked the settings and they seem the same in both sites. I’m using the ‘twentyeleven’ theme. Help, please!
