non-blog owners as authors?

  Is it possible to add an author to your blog who DOSEN’T already have one? If so, plz tell me!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you wish to add another author to your blog, you’ll have to send them an invite (click on ‘Users’ in the dashboard, then ‘Invites’) to sign up with WordPress.com

  They will either have to have an account here, or they will be asked to create one when they accept the invitation, but they DO NOT have to create a blog. Having an account here is how wordpress keeps track of who you have set up as an author or contributor and who you have not.
