non-breaking spaces removed by editor
-
Hi there,
I’ve noticed that my non-breaking space characters
( )are now always removed by the editor.I’ve looked up a couple of other threads on similar topics. Just to clarify, I’m not talking about misusing spaces to force indents or anything like that. I’m using non-breaking spaces to keep words together, like a number and it’s unit (e.g. 40 mm or 320 KB). This is exactly the proper usage of the nbsp.
I appreciate the editor’s job is to correct poor code, but I don’t see why it would strip out HTML special character entities.
Best regards.

… Just to clarify: the bit of code in the box was supposed to be a non-breaking space character. I guess even the forum editor strips them out!
