Non-cronological posts

  This blog is a listing of links to news headlines on a certain topic, using one new post per week.

  Unfortunately, I missed entering a post a few weeks ago. The links are all archived in a file, and I want to give them their own post in the appropriate cronological place (a certain week in July).

  Is it possible to insert a new post between two old ones in order to give continuity to the listings of headlines?

  Yes it is, just just adjust the published date so that it fits in between the other two.

  Actually it is best to adjust the date before you publish the post.
