WordPress.com users can set the primary language of their blog under Settings > General. If someone blogs in Arabic but has English as the primary blog in their settings (like in this case), their blog might come up in the Topics alongside other blogs that have indicated their language as English.
Ideally, all users would update the setting to indicate the actual primary language of their blog, or we would have an algorithm to recognize a post’s language and then only show you the posts in the language you’re interested in.
For now, you will occasionally see non-English posts in your Topics. The vast majority of posts is in English, though, so you’ll have plenty to choose from if you want to read up on a particular topic.
