‘Non-existent Profile’.

    i have a Word Press profile.

    About half the word press blogs that i visit, i am automatically signed in, and can reply accordingly.

    The other half ask that i sign in, even after just arriving there from my dashboard, and then says my profile is invalid or doesn’t exist. It’s absolutely maddening.

    What is going on?

    You have a WordPress.com profile. It works on blogs hosted at WordPress.com only. If you sign in first at http://wordpress.com/, then visit blogs hosted at WordPress.com, you won’t need to sign in individually at each one.

    If you visit a WordPress blog elsewhere, you won’t be logged in and your WordPress.com username and password won’t work there. (I’d recommend only ever using your WordPress.com username and password on the front page of WordPress.com).
