Non java script alternatives to feature similar to linkwithin?

I understand that wordpress.com does not allow plugins and javascript and I understand the rationale, but I’d like to know how others have created internal links to similar content within their blog at the end of each post (aside from using tags and categories). Is this possible? Have people done this manually? Is there a quicker/systematic way to do this than reinventing the wheel with each post? I like the idea of pointing readers to similar content within my blog right after they’ve read a post they like without relying on them to find the category cloud on the sidebar or the tiny category/tag labels at the bottom of the post. Does anyone have a system they like?

Oh NO! I’m so sorry I gave the wrong answer above. You did not ask about linkedin. You are asking about an alternative for the linkedwithin widget and I did not read carefully. The answer to your question is there is no automatic way to include related links found within your own blog to the bottom of posts. I have been doing this manually for years now.

Would you mind telling me how you do it? Do you include photos? Just links? Have you found a way to make the process more efficient over time?

I do not use photos at all. I use Google search first to locate all my related posts and then I simply create a section at the bottom of each post:
Related links found in this blog:
and list the links to my related posts below that heading.
