Non-premium member can’t restore blog/site without a WordPress human

I tried to restore my WordPress blog today (Sunday March 1st) within the 30 day window but it doesn’t show up on the sites list (it’s saying I do not have one). I tried communicating with the AI chat help which told me it’s odd that my blog doesn’t show up as it should be recoverable within the allotted time window. I deleted it on the 6th of February. The chatbot said I need help to restore my site/page/blog from a ‘Wordpress support’ human but that’s only available for Premium members. Does this happen to most poor, or non-Premium members, or is it just me? Was my account already accessed (unlawfully) and if so, how would I be able to find that out?

Just to confirm, were you trying to restore your deleted site https://stardusteternity.wordpress.com/, and it was still within the 30-day recovery period?
If so, I’ve gone ahead and restored the site for you. You should now be able to access it from your Sites list here, and you can also visit the site.
Also, to clarify — there is no requirement to have a Premium plan (or any paid plan) to restore a deleted site within the 30-day period. This applies to all users, and restoration can be handled from our end when needed.
If you saw a message from AI stating that a Premium plan was required to restore the site, could you please share a screenshot or copy the exact text and email it to help@wordpress.com? That will allow us to review it internally and investigate further. It also helps us improve the experience moving forward.

After reviewing it, I can confirm that the AI assistant’s message was referring to our email and live chat support, which starts with our Personal plan.
That said, I want to clarify that any user can restore a deleted site within 30 days of deleting it.
Also, free support is available through our community forums, where we’re always happy to help any user with any questions they might have.
