Non-published post

  I want to put add a post but not have it published publicly. I would really like to have a post with a video and text but NOT have it on my main page nor have it password protected. I want a page with the video and text and be able to send a link to it. I can do that with video only but no text.

  Any help?

  Hi there,

  Are you looking to do this with a page or a post? With a page, that’s not too much of a problem. You can create one and then use Custom Menus to only have the pages which you want shown in your Menu Bar.

  As far as posts go, you can actually have posts which are published but not displayed on your front page with the rest of your posts, I’m afraid.

  I tried creating a page but I was not able not to get it to display in the menu. How do I create a page and not have it displayed in the menu?

  Heya,

  I just took a look at your site and it’s looking like you’re getting a hang of the custom menus interface. You’ve got two different menus going, and the second one has two pages on it but not your test page which looks great!

  Do you need any more help?
