non-techie seeks happy blog button

  I have a nifty little 100 pixel x 100 pixel picture I would like to make into a blog button for visitors to my blog to grab. From everything I’m read, this picture (with my blog name already on it) is ready to go– I just need help figuring out how to get it onto my blog with the correct codes etc.

  I have read a zillion things on how to make this happen, but I am a “non-techie” and I’m getting confused. Can someone please tell me in *very simple* steps how to do this?
