Non-WordPress subscribers don’t appear in Subscriber count?

    Hi,

    There can somebody please confirm the above for me? I have been recieving email notification that a person has subscribed (non-wordpress account) yet my Subscriber count (within stats) is not counting these people.

    Or could it be that they are subscribing through the ‘subscribe’ widget and this may be the reason it is not counted?
