non wordpress users need to be able to follow blog

    when I have non wordpress users click follow and then get the confirmation, and click on that, there is an error message that comes up. How can anyone follow the blog?

    I do not experience any error message when clicking your subscription link. What is the error message that has been resported to you?

    Hi there,

    I tried following your site while logged out using both the follow button and the follow widget, and in both cases I war able to confirm the follow without any problems.

    It would help if you can tell us exactly what the error message is, as @timethief also asked. Also ask the users having trouble with this to try the following:

    Instead of clicking the button in the email, right-click on it and select Copy Link Location.

    Then open a new incognito browser tab and paste the link in the address bar.

    It could be that cookies in their browsers are interfering with the email confirmation. Following these steps should get around that problem.
