Nonstop email about update for a blog that should no longer exist?

    Hi all,

    I keep getting an email about a ‘Pending Upgrade for your WordPress Blog’ for a blog which no longer exists (or at least I hope not) which is called rookienotebook.com. I tried to start a blog but abandoned it.

    Is there any way that I can stop this from the root / find out what’s the issue and make sure everything is deleted and nothing is being charged? If nothing exists though, it would be great if I can just stop receiving this emails altogether.

    To clarify, are you receiving emails from WordPress.com, suggesting a plan upgrade for your WordPress.com site?

    Hi there,

    Looks like you’re talking about a self-hosted WordPress blog, because I can’t find any record of rookienotebook.com in our database and in your account.

    If you want those email to stop, you should contact the hosting provider where you had rookienotebook.com .
