Noob question – how get pic when linking

  hiya,
  when i link to my site on facebook, there’s no thumbnail or anything? is there a particular part of the site i have to upload pics to or something to get that ? thanks. geo

  sorry, not sure i understand you? I have a post that has a pic on it, but does there have to be one on the homepage in order to get a thumbnail next to a link?
