Nook theme not showing the static page
-
I chose to display a startic page on my homepage but the content shows as if it was a post, not a page (only a couple of lines, truncated, with a Read More link instead of the full content)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! I can see that the Nook theme is a Site editor theme. This means that it’ll mostly use templates to dictate what you can display on a particular page, however, when I tested this using the default configuration, we could see the static page without an issue.
Please activate the theme on your website and let us know once it’s ready so we can review it further. -
Sometimes when using the Customizer with a Block theme, settings made in the Customizer don’t always behave correctly.
Try going to Settings>Reading and confirm that the selections you made appear there as well. Let us know how that goes.

Hi @frdomain. I spotted the issue: because you had set the homepage to “static page”, your theme was using the “Single Page” template instead of the “Index” one. I was able to fix this by:
- Setting the homepage preference to “Recent Posts”
- Copying the content from the page and adding it directly to your “Index” theme template.
If you need to edit your homepage, please edit the template via Appearance > Editor > Templates > Index or directly in this link.
I hope that helps!
