Normal Refund Timeline?
-
Hello,
My card was charged an auto-renewal for domain mapping for robertsonlawfirmwi.com on June 2, 2015. I cancelled the domain on June 3, 2015, within the two-day window. As of June 18, 2015, I have not received a refund yet. How long does it normally take for WP to complete the refund process, and when can I expect the refund?

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

as well as
Dashboard > Store > Billing History

Thank you for the quick response.
So then my follow up question would be: should I be worried that it has been 15 days since I cancelled my domain mapping and I still have not received my refund even though it was within the 48 hour window?

If I was worried I would use the link I provided above, but I have tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up and response, so you do not have to do that. It looks like the refund was not issued, sorry about that!
You should see it on your statement within the next 7 business days.

I was charged $99 even though I tried to cancel my trial-version two times in a row within 3 minutes on May 25th. In addition to that, although I am still on the 30 days refund policy, I just can’t cancel my upgrade and get my refund. I tried all the process described to go on “my upgrades”->”cancel and refund”, but the message I get is that I will not be charge $99 on May 23rd from next year! Nothing is said about getting my money, already charged, back.
Please, I am looking for a quick solution because my 30 days policy will expire on June 23rd if counted the day I tried my free trial.
Thank you

Your refund was issued on June 20, when you canceled the upgrade. It can take up to a 10 days for the credit to appear on your card’s statement.
