normal-sized font showing up huge on updated Kelly theme blog…

I just switched to the Kelly theme and for some reason the main text is about twice as big as it looks in the editor. I have selected “normal” size but when I update and look at the finished page, the text looks enormous. Except for when I slightly reduce my browser window…then it looks good but when I go full-screen the font blows up. Is this just my browser or something? Does it look normal to everyone else, or do you feel like you’re reading one of those massive-print books for the visually impaired? And if so, how do I fix it?

I absolutely see what you are referring to with the “base font”. Just curious, In the Customizer, when you set the font size to normal, did you do so for both the Headings and Base Font? As it looks as though the Headings are a Normal size, but not the base font. Also, have you tried using a different font style for your “base fonts”?

No, I use large for the Headings because otherwise the font I’m using for that is so small it’s practically illegible. And I tried using just a couple different styles for the base font as I really like the one I’m trying to use! But is that pretty much it? Do they both the Headings and Base fonts have to be the same size, and do I just need to use a different style for the Base..?

well, “illegible” is a bit of a hyperbole, but normal size is definitely too small (for that font I guess anyway) for Headings.

And of course “Small” appears incredibly small! Currently set to small on both headings and base fonts…why such a huge gap between the way small and normal are displayed? Small looks tiny and Normal looks Huge. Is this an issue with the theme? The way something carried over from my last theme..? A bug?
